Faith Community M.B. Church has been in existence on the Westside of Chicago for over 45 years.  Our first pastor was the late Rev. Edward S. Turner who after his health began to fail turned his ministry over to Rev. Wardell Newsome, our current pastor for over ten years.  Under the guidance of Rev. Newsome, we have witnessed God's many blessings.  We are a fast growing church with new ministries for children and adults alike.  We are blessed to have an excellent Sunday School led by our gifted teacher Sis. Minnie Lark  and an energetic young disciple who ministers to both our neighborhood and our church, Deacon Reginald Sanders just to name a few.  Come witness the awesome power of God in your life.  When you do, you'll be glad you did!
  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who went to the cross, was buried and rose on the third day.
  • We believe that while humanity has fallen, the good news is Christ came to pay the penalty of our sins on the cross and they are paid in full to this day.
  • We believe that the Bible is God's devinely inspired revelation of himself to man and it is true, trustworthy and without blemish.
  • We believe the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ.

Our church exists to equip people with a faith that works in real life.  Through christian education, we strive to equip ourselves, neighbors, friends and family with the "WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD" so we can live a life that is pleasing to Him. We are large enough to take in everyone who seeks the shelter of Jesus and small enough to nurture the spiritual growth of each member individually.  We WILL let our lights shine and show you how to become a "beacon" in every aspect of this christian journey.
  • We want everyone who comes in our path to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  • We envision people of all races being saved, healed and delivered based solely on the name of Jesus Christ.
  • We want our church to be known as a "Safe Haven" for those who come through our doors asking "What must I do to be saved?"
